when you can’t plan for anything, learn to cradle the ebbs and flows. when everything goes right there may still be a remnant of wrong. but how can anything be wrong if it still makes one content to view, to hold, to cherish, to see?
despite minor imperfection, this vessel remains perfect in itself. an impervious container hoping to one day find a home (preferably with a flower frog and eye for design) the item itself reminds us that despite weeks of work and planning, you can never truly prepare with a newfound general lack of complete focus. and isn’t that the point.

this item has minor imperfections due to result of firing process, lending to a lower item cost and better story. this includes an unexpected glaze spot on the bottom and a white chip about 1cm around on the top of the vessel. neither of these affect ability for the vase to hold water or look beautiful. they’re just a little crayon on the wall. photos are available via email, clairparada@gmail.com to inquire.
